Description
This course is an introduction into basic PLC programming. You will gain understanding of bollean algebra, ladder logic diagrams and PLC internal operations.
This course is intended to introduce the GX Works2 programming software and programming in ladder logic. This course covers the concepts of ladder programming, as well as the features of the GX Works2 software. The material covered will include concepts applicable to the FX Series, L Series, and Q Series programmable controller families.

In-Person Class Details
In-person classes utilize the Mitsubishi Q Series PLC platform. Computers are provided by Gibson for this training, however students are also welcome to bring their own laptops if they have already installed the GX Works2 programming software.
Online Class Details
Online classes utilize the built-in Emulator provided by the GX Works2 software. Students will need to have the software pre-installed before the start of class.
Requirements:
- GX Works2 Software pre-installed on the student’s PC
- Quiet workspace to sit for the duration of the class away from distractions where the instructor can be heard easily
- Webcam so that you can interact with the class and the instructor
- Either a headset or speakers and a microphone
