Moritex Product Solutions

Moritex has a wide inventory of lighting & lensing solutions, perfect for any vision application from a simple setup to complex multi-camera/light solutions.

spot lights

Moritex spot lights use high power LEDs and unique heat dissipation technology to successfully achieve brightness levels that outshine the rest of the industry. MORITEX's technologies in optics are combined into the optical system to achieve ultra-bright, highly uniform illumination, especially for MML coaxial lighting. These spot light components feature red, green, blue and white color options with two series types. The MCEP-070-3 Series offers a 0.7 maximum rated current, while the MCEP-2N Series has a 0.35 maximum rated current.

coaxial lights

Designed for use with our MML Series of telecentric lenses and other lenses without coaxial illumination, these items deliver uniform simulated coaxial light. The "Simulated Coaxial Illumination"can obtain uniform coaxial epi-illumination for wide FOV of "MTL Series". It can use CompaVis backlight "CV - FL Series" "CV - NFL Series" as light source. Available colors are blue, white and red.

ring lights

Boasting high brightness LEDs deployed at a high density to produce light from 360 degrees, these ring light models ensure uniform illumination. The lineup features many different sizes of ring-shaped illumination in blue, red and white color options. This standard type of LED illumination can be used in a wide range of applications.

shadowless

Shadowless illumination series provides soft, uniform, and evenly diffused illumination on glossy surfaces, making the lineup great for dealing with halation. The MSLL series offer diffused illumination from a shallow angle is suited for scratch and edge detection on glossy surfaces.

bar lights

Bar illumination series uses a high intensity LED array to deliver oblique illumination from any angle to conform to the corresponding surface. These machine vision lights provide high power and uniform light for large area applications, such as automotive part inspection. The MHBC line features an adjustable mechanism for light focusing position and offers 10 times the brightness of standard LED line lights.

brick lights

Brick illumination provides high illuminance and long WD lighting by means of high power LED Applicable to environment with splashing water and dust. Brick illumination is compact size, however it can irradiate lighting with high brightness and high directivity. These products offer red, green, blue, white and infrared emitted colors.

dome light

Dome lights illuminate the surface of an object uniformly by reflecting output light from the lower part of the dome onto the inner wall of the dome from 360 degrees. Featuring a simulated coaxial box on the upper part of the dome and a low angle ring on the lower part, this definitive dome illumination series goes everywhere you need it to go.

backlight

Thanks to a thin, compact design, these direct backlights save valuable space. The lineup also delivers high-quality diffused light. These backlights provide an area of uniform illumination, oriented behind the object of interest, primarily for creating a part silhouette of instant contrast between dark and light.

line lights

High brightness LED line lights are ideal for line lighting over short lengths for one-dimensional linear CCD cameras. The provide wide light coverage with consistent brightness under long WD condition.

led-controller

Moritex LED controllers are available in analog and digital control in either 70W, 120W or 230W models. Multi voltage input (AC100-240V) is supported with these controllers that provide external dimming control.

polarizer

Polarizing filters are used to help to reduce specular reflections from shiny, nonmetal surfaces. These products are dedicated polarizing plates for the MG-Wave® Series.

diffuser

The Moritex diffuser is used to homogenize lighting structure by distributing source light over a scattering/translucent area to produce an effective light-emitting surface. This is useful for illuminating shiny surfaces or large areas, where source direction and structure can pose a limitation for imaging systems.

light control film

Mounted inside coaxial illumination, this light control film helps the coaxial lighting product produce more collimated light and makes it easier to detect defects in test object surfaces.

telecentric lens

Moritex telecentric lenses enable high contrast, high resolution and low distortion imaging with optional integrated coaxial illumination that utilizes our proprietary hot spot reduction techniques fusing advanced optical designs with user-friendly features. High contrast features create clear distinctions between black and white, while the distortion-free design eliminates the need for distortion correction in your project specifications.

bi-telecentric lens

Bi-telecentric lenses that help to maintain accurate measurements, even when the object starts to move out of focus. Each bi-telecentric lens comes with its own actual MTF measurements. Bi-telecentric lenses boast a very even illumination of the detector, which comes useful in several applications such as LCD, textile and print quality control. These lenses also feature a constant incident angle to the sensor to reduce shading and create an image with uniform brightness.

fa lens

Moritex FA series are professional grade lenses for machine vision applications. Many models feature low-distortion and high-resolution configurations for accurate readings.

  • 2/3” and 1.1” format sizes
  • Vibration resistance
  • Focal lengths from 5mm to 75mm

Moritex lens products help you control the flow of light and achieve highly accurate machine vision with every use.

Our Vision Lab Process

Our decades of experience, engineering experts and state-of-the-art lab facilities allow our team to accurately test your machine vision project to improve your confidence in the specifications, reduce risk and increase your return on investment (ROI).

vision lab

Gibson Engineering uses four steps in our vision lab evaluation process:

  1. Define requirements: During this initial step, we focus on identifying your project needs, from the physical constraints, field of view and cycle time to final inspection criteria.
  2. Send us parts: You ship us your parts, and our team evaluates these components, determines inspection capabilities and identifies any variables that must be considered for deployment success.
  3. Proof of concept: At this stage, our engineering team tests your components under various real-world lighting conditions, resolution cameras, styles and lensing types to create the ideal inspection and imaging results. We develop an evaluation report and inspection time analysis to gauge performance against your specific parameters.
  4. Review the results: Finally, our team uses this proof of concept to build a comprehensive quotation with recommended hardware for your project. We include application feedback, sample images and job files from our process.
